Bobáľky with poppy seeds
Bobáľky (little rolls) are the most popular with poppies. Because the dish is relatively filling, the prepared amount should be enough for the 4 portions. If it seems too little, feel free to double the amount of ingredients.

Recipe

whole milk 3.5% 6.75 tbsp (100 ml) • sugar granulated 2 tsp • fresh yeast 0.5 oz (15 g) • flour medium 1 tsp
Mix flour and sugar with a little lukewarm milk. Add crumbled yeast and gently stir. Allow it to raise covered at warm place.

Put flour into a bowl, add a pinch of salt, melted butter and egg yolk.

Add leavening, knead the dough ...

... and let it covered, in a warm place, to rise (about 45 minutes).

... and cut in 4 pieces. Shape each piece into a roller with a diameter of 1.5-2 cm.

Cut them into 1.5-2 cm large pieces.

You can bake the pieces directly as you cut them. But it is better to shape each piece into a ball, in lightly oiled palms.

Put the balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, at appopriate distances from each other.

Bake for 18 minutes at 180 °C.

Let it rest for 2 minutes and take the bobalky out. If they are hard, leave them in milk for one or two minutes longer.

Sprinkle with poppy seeds, pour melted butter over and add honey. Add the ingredients as you like.
