unsalted butter-
whole milk 3.5%½cup120milliliters

 

Recipe

1. 

potatoes 2 lb (900 g)

Cook potatoes in a water for 20-25 minutes, let it cool and peel it.

2. 

Grate finely.

3. 

chicken egg 2 pcs  salt 1 pinch

Add salt and eggs.

4. 

semolina 10 oz (280 g)

Add semolina and knead the dough. Let the dough rest for about half an hour.

5. 

whole milk 3.5% ½ cup (120 ml)  sugar granulated 2.75 oz (80 g)

Bring milk and sugar to a boil in a pot.

6. 

ground poppy seeds 7 oz (200 g)

Add poppy seeds and mix. Let cool.

7. 

plum jam 2.75 oz (80 g)

Stir in the jam.

8. 

Create balls from the poppy seeds (diameter about 2-2.5 cm).

9. 

all-purpose flour / plain flour

On a floured board, form the dough into a roll (thickness 4.5 cm). Cut the roll into wheels about 1.5 cm thick (into 35 pieces).

10. 

Create a pancake from each piece of dough, put a poppy ball inside and wrap it. Roll in flour on a board.

11. 

Bring water with a little salt to a boil in a large pot. Put the balls in boiling water and cook them for 4-5 minutes after they appear on the surface.

12. 

Remove the balls with a perforated laddle.

13. 

unsalted butter

Pour melted butter.
