tomato paste1.1lb500grams
water1.6quart1.5litre

1. 

red cabbage 1.1 lb (500 g)

Clean the cabbage and grate it coarsely.

2. 

potatoes 1.1 lb (500 g)

Peel, wash and cut the potatoes.

3. 

onion 3.5 oz (100 g)  sunflower oil 3 tbsp

Peel an onion, chop finely and cook in oil.

4. 

salt 1.5 tsp  sugar granulated 2 tbsp  ground caraway 1 tsp

Add cabbage, salt, sugar and caraway to the onion.

5. 

bay leaf 2 pcs  water 1.6 quart (1500 ml)

Add potatoes, bay leaf and water. Stir and cook for 20-25 minutes (until the potatoes are soft).

6. 

tomato paste 1.1 lb (500 g)

Finally mix in the tomato puree and boil.
