Homemade dried tomatoes with basil and garlic
Tasty delicacy full of vitamins. Preparation of tomatoes is a simple process, but drying takes some time. We used an electric dryer, which dries evenly, does not boil or bake the tomatoes. Its electricity consumption is relatively low. But the result is really worth the patience.

Recipe
1.
Wash the tomatoes, cut them into thicker, about 0.5 - 0.7 cm slices and place them on sieves. Turn the tomato slices during the drying process.
2.
Correct dried tomatoes are slightly "rubbery", they must not break. Gradually remove them from the sieves, place them on a plate. When all are dried, gently spray them with wine vinegar and mix. The wine vinegar makes them taste great and prevents the potential spoiling process.
4.
Clean the garlic and cut it lengthwise into halves or quarters. Add the garlic together with the basil leaves to the tomatoes, mix...
5.
... and press into a smaller jar. Cover with oil, close and store in the refrigerator. Let rest for about 3 weeks and consume. The oil that remains after consumption is very tasty for a vegetable salad.
Bon appetit!
