Recipe

1. 

red lentil 1.1 lb (500 g)

Wash the lentils three times in cold water.

2. 

water 3.2 cup (750 ml)  salt 1 tsp

Add water to the lentils and cook for about 15 minutes.

3. 

Dried fenugreek leaves 2 tsp

When the lentil is almost coked, remove it from the heat and stir in the fenugreek.

4. 

unsalted butter 1.5 oz (40 g)  onion 3.5 oz (100 g)  ground Roman caraway spice - jeera 0.5 tsp  bay leaf 1 pc

Fry the onion in butter with caraway and bay leaf.

5. 

salt 1 pinch  garlic 3 cloves  ground ginger 0.25 tsp  ground black pepper 0.25 tsp  spice turmeric 0.5 tsp

Season with pepper, turmeric, salt, finely chopped garlic and ginger. For the spicy version, it's time to add a piece of chopped chili pepper.

6. 

tomatoes 5.25 oz (150 g)

Add finely chopped tomatoes and cook until soft.

7. 

Garam masala spice 1 tsp

Finally season with a mixture of Garam Masala spices.

8. 

Add the mixture to the cooked lentils.
