Recipe

1. 

onion 8.75 oz (250 g)  pork lard 1.75 oz (50 g)

Peel and cut the onion and fry it in fat.

2. 

pork thigh 1.1 lb (500 g)

Wash the meat and cut it into cubes.

3. 

dried mushrooms 1 oz (30 g)

Soak the dried forest mushrooms in cold water.

4. 

Add the meat to the fried onion and stir.

5. 

Add mushrooms....

ground red paprika 3 tsp  salt 1 tsp

... remove from the heat and add pepper and salt. Mix ...

7. 

water 1.6 quart (1500 ml)

... and add water. After boiling, cover and simmer the meat for 35 minutes.

sauerkraut- finely chopped cabbage (fermented)

Drain the cabbage (you will have 2 kg of cabbage and 0.5 l of cabbage water from the mentioned weight). Keep the cabbage water. If the cabbage is a little sour, you can add the water later.

9. 

dried plums 12 pcs

Wash the plums.

10. 

dried mushrooms 1.75 oz (50 g)

Soak the mushrooms in water.

11. 

Add cabbage, plums and mushrooms to the meat.

12. 

water 3.15 quart (3000 ml)

Add water, mix, bring to a boil and cook for 15 minutes.

13. 

sausage 1.1 lb (500 g)

Add the whole sausage and cook for another 15 minutes.

14. 

Take the cooked sausage, cut it into thin circles and put it back into the soup, stir. If you find cabbage not enough sour, you can add cabbage water and overcook.
