Great lunch or dinner from rabbit liver. Serve with rice and a tasty sweet side dish of apples, filled with cranberry jam.

Recipe

1.

Peel the apples and remove the cores.

Cut the apples into thicker slices, coat them with sugar from one side ...

... and put on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

4. 

Bake for 30 minutes at 180 °C.

rabbit liver 1.1 lb (500 g)

Wash and clean the livers.

all-purpose flour / plain flour 2 oz (60 g)  ground black pepper 1 tsp

Mix spices with flour.

7. 

Coat livers with flour.

8. 

onion 7 oz (200 g)  sunflower oil 3 tbsp

Peel onion, chop it finely and fry in oil.

9. 

Fry livers...

...with onion from both sides.

water 1.3 cup (300 ml)

Add water and simmer under the cover for 10 minutes.

12. 

Remove the livers from the sauce.

13. 

water ¾ cup (200 ml)

Mix the juice, add water and salt.

14. 

Put livers back to the pan and add sauce. Cook for a while and serve.
