Recipe for sterilized lentils and tofu in a thick sweet - sour sauce with tomatoes. Simple and very tasty for children. It is suitable to any side dish.

1. 

white tofu 1.1 lb (500 g)

Cut tofu into the cubes and mildly fry on all sides.

2. 

onion 8.75 oz (250 g)  rapeseed oil 3 tbsp  bay leaf 2 pcs  ground black pepper 0.25 tsp  ground Roman caraway spice - jeera 1 tsp

Cut the onion coarsely and fry in oil. Season with spices.

3. 

flour medium 2 tbsp  water 1.3 cup (300 ml)

Sprinkle the onion with flour and mix well. Add a little water to make a thin mash.

4. 

tomato paste 1.7 cup (400 ml)  sterilized tomatoes 14 oz (400 g)  sugar granulated 1 tbsp

Add tomato paste and finely chopped sterilized tomatoes.

5. 

lentils sterilized 14 oz (400 g)  salt 0.5 tsp

Tip lentils from the can into a sieve and rinse well under running water. Then add the lentils in the sauce.

6. 

Add roasted pieces of tofu in the sauce.

7. 

Cook together for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
