Gourmet Beans with Onion

     

More colorful version of beans and onion with sweet carrot in reduced tomato sauce.

Ground black pepper¼teaspoon
Ground ginger1teaspoon
Kidney beans300g
Marjoram½teaspoon
Onion60g
Rapeseed oil2tablespoon
Salt½teaspoon
Sugar granulated1teaspoon
Tomato paste250ml

1. 

carrots 3.5 oz (100 g)

Cut carrot into thick rounds ...

2. 

rapeseed oil 2 tbsp

and cook it in oil.

3. 

onion 2 oz (60 g)

Coarsely chop onion ...

4. 

ground black pepper ¼ tsp

... and add it to the pan. Season with ground black pepper.

5. 

kidney beans 10.5 oz (300 g)

Wash canned kidney beans in water.

6. 

tomato paste 250 ml  marjoram ½ tsp  ground ginger 1 tsp  salt ½ tsp  sugar granulated 1 tsp

Add to the pan tomato paste, marjoram, ground ginger, sugar and salt.

7. 

Cook and stir occasionally to reduce the sauce.
