1. 

logs dried yellow peas 1.1 lb (500 g)  water 1.25 quart (1200 ml)  salt 1.5 tsp

Sort the peas out, wash the peas several times and add the prescribed amount of water in the pot.Cook it. Add salt and pepper. Cook until soft, about 60 minutes. The use of dried halven peas allows to you to cook the side dish without soaking for several hours.

Mix the peas in the water.

Add cleaned, pressed garlic ...

whipping cream (30-33% fat) ¾ cup (200 ml)

... and cream. Overcook. The side dish harden by cooling, but if it seems thin, you can thicken it with a little flour (1 TS), mixed in milk (50 ml).

onion 14 oz (400 g)  rapeseed oil 3.25 tbsp (50 ml)

Clean the onion, cut it into parts and divide it. Fry.

6. 

Serve the roasted onions with sde dish and bread. You can also serve it with lightly roasted ham.
