Pasta with black bean sauce

Tasty and nutritious food that is also known in Asia as "Jajangmyeon" or "Zazang". It is usually cooked with pork. We have used beef this time, but it is also tasty with chicken or tofu.

pasta - whole-grain spaghetti1.3lb600grams
potato starch2tsp2teaspoon
potatoes3.5oz100grams
rapeseed oil5tbsp5tablespoon
salt0.5tsp½teaspoon
sesame seeds2tbsp2tablespoon
sugar granulated1tbsp1tablespoon
water3cup700milliliters
water2.1quart2litres
white radish3.5oz100grams
zucchini3.5oz100grams

 

Recipe

1. 

beef - sirloin 14 oz (400 g)  rapeseed oil 3 tbsp  ground black pepper 0.25 tsp

Cut the meat into small pieces and fry in hot oil in a wok until golden.

2. 

potatoes 3.5 oz (100 g)  onion 3.5 oz (100 g)  zucchini 3.5 oz (100 g)  white radish 3.5 oz (100 g)

Wash the vegetables, clean and cut into small pieces.

3. 

Add the vegetables to the meat.

4. 

Fry while stirring from time to time.

5. 

rapeseed oil 2 tbsp

Make a round space in the middle of the pan and pour a little oil.

6. 

black bean paste 6 tbsp

Fry the paste in oil with occasional stirring for about a minute.

7. 

Mix the paste with the rest contents of the pan.

8. 

water 2.1 cup (500 ml)  sugar granulated 1 tbsp

Add water or broth, season with sugar, mix and simmer covered for about 10 minutes.

9. 

potato starch 2 tsp  water ¾ cup (200 ml)

Mix the starch in water ...

... and add into the boiling sauce, which thickens after a while and is ready to serve.

11. 

sesame seeds 2 tbsp

Fry the sesame seeds briefly in a pan without oil.

12. 

english cucumber 1 pc  pasta - whole-grain spaghetti 1.3 lb (600 g)  water 2.1 quart (2000 ml)  salt 0.5 tsp

Serve with cooked pasta or rice. Garnish with cucumber and roasted sesame seeds.
