Beef goulash in Asian way. An excellent tip for cottage, if you are bored with the classic goulash. Curry comes from India, but it is already very popular in Japan, Thailand and the Western world.

ground Roman caraway spice - jeera4tsp4teaspoon
ground coriander spice 4tsp4teaspoon
onion5.25oz150grams
potatoes3.5oz100grams
red pepper3.5oz100grams
semi skimmed milk 1,5%6.75tbsp100milliliters
spice turmeric2tsp2teaspoon
sterilized tomatoes14oz400grams
sugar cane1tbsp1tablespoon
vinegar1tbsp1tablespoon
water1.05quart1litre
white yogurt2tbsp2tablespoon

 

Recipe

1. 

beef - sirloin 10.5 oz (300 g)

Cut the meat into 2-3 mm thick cubes.

2. 

coconut oil 3 tbsp

Fry the meat in oil in a hot pot.

3. 

ginger-root 0.5 oz (15 g)

Cut ginger finely ...

4. 

... and add to the meat. Pour a little water as needed.

5. 

ground Roman caraway spice - jeera 4 tsp  ground coriander spice  4 tsp  spice turmeric 2 tsp  Garam masala spice 2 tsp

Sprinkle the meat with spices and mix well.

6. 

onion 5.25 oz (150 g)

Add finely chopped onion ...

7. 

garlic 2 cloves

... and two cloves of garlic.

8. 

potatoes 3.5 oz (100 g)

Grate the potatoes finely, ...

9. 

water 1.05 quart (1000 ml)

... add to the pot and pour water.

10. 

Stew covered for at least an hour.

11. 

sterilized tomatoes 14 oz (400 g)

Cut canned tomatoes into smaller pieces and add to the pot.

12. 

Stew for another 30 minutes.

13. 

red pepper 3.5 oz (100 g)

Cut the pepper into strips ...

... and add to the pot.

15. 

white yogurt 2 tbsp  semi skimmed milk 1,5% 6.75 tbsp (100 ml)  sugar cane 1 tbsp  vinegar 1 tbsp

Stir in yogurt and milk. Season with salt, sugar and vinegar.

16. 

Cook the meat until soft.
