French Apple Cake

     

French apple cake ideally suits bleak autumn afternoon during the coffee break.

1. 

powdered sugar 3.5 oz (100 g)  chicken egg 2 pcs

In a bowl beat the sugar with eggs until foamy.

salt  flour fine 5.25 oz (150 g)  baking powder ½ oz (15 g)

Add pinch of salt, gradually stir in the flour with the baking powder.

3. 

sunflower oil 3 tbsp  semi skimmed milk 1,5% 100 ml

Finally add the oil and milk. Blend all together well.

4. 

Pour half of the batter into greased and floured round baking dish with diameter of 25 cm.

apples 13 oz (370 g)

Place thin slices of the chopped apples over the dough.

6. 

Pour in remaining half of batter.

7. 

Bake the cake at 355°F (180°C) for 30 minutes. While baking, prepare the topping.

8. 

unsalted butter 2.75 oz (80 g)  cinnamon sugar ¾ oz (20 g)  chicken egg 1 pc

The topping is made by melting the butter, adding cinnamom sugar and eggs. Pour over the baked cake and bake for further 20 minutes.
