Recipe

1. 

all-purpose flour / plain flour 1.1 lb (500 g)  unsalted butter 8.75 oz (250 g)  powdered sugar 6.25 oz (180 g)  baking powder for gingerbread 0.25 oz (10 g)  egg yolk 1 pc

Knead the dough from flour, soften butter, sugar, baking powder and egg yolk.

Grease the baking tray with butter and place two third of the dough on baking tray evenly by pressing into the tray.

random jam 10.5 oz (300 g)

Spread the dough with runny jam.

4. 

egg white 1 pc

From remaining third of dough form long rolls and place them on cake forming a grid. Brush grid with beaten egg white and bake grid cake in preheated oven at 355°F (180°C) for about 20 - 25 minutes.

5. 

powdered sugar

Sprinkle baked cake with sugar and cut it. Cooled cake can be served.
