A recipe for preparing delicious shimeji mushrooms from East Asia. They are fried with carrots and onions and seasoned with fish sauce.

1. 

carrots 1.5 oz (40 g)

Clean, wash and cut the carrots.

2. 

oil for frying 2 tbsp

Fry the carrots in oil.

3. 

onion 1.5 oz (40 g)  garlic 2 cloves

Add coarsely cutted onion and garlic.

4. 

hon shimeji mushrooms 5.25 oz (150 g)  ground black pepper 0.25 tsp

When the onions change the colour, add the mushrooms and season.

5. 

Fry until gold.

6. 

fish sauce 2 tbsp  chinese cabbage 2 oz (60 g)

Add a little chopped cabbage and season with fish sauce.

7. 

Stir and remove from heat.

8. Serving tip

Serve as a main dish or with noodles, rice, quinoa, couscous, etc. Sprinkle with fresh coriander.
