The sauce is served with cooked or roasted meat, with meatballs, together with dumplings or boiled potatoes.

1. 

water 0.5 l  salt 2 ČL  sugar granulated 5 PL  vinegar 3 PL  bay leaf 4 ks  tomato paste 2.2 lb (1000 g)  corn starch 1.75 oz (50 g)

Add salt, sugar, vinegar, bay leaf to water and bring to the boil. Stir corn starch with tomato paste until smooth and pour the mixture in the boiling water. Cook until it becomes dense. We can add salt, vinegar or sugar to our taste.
