Cabbage-Tomato Soup

    

Tasty thick soup, full of healthy vegetable, which is favoured by children as well as by adults.

potatoes1.1lb500grams

sterilized tomatoes14oz400grams

tomato paste1.1lb500grams
vinegar-
water1.3quart1250milliliters
white cabbage1.1lb500grams

1. 

bacon strips 2.5 oz (70 g)  onion 2.5 oz (70 g)

Dice bacon into the cubes and fry. Add roughly chopped onion and shortly fry with bacon.

2. 

white cabbage 1.1 lb (500 g)

Cut the cabbage and with knife chop into the small pieces.

3. 

sugar granulated 2 tbsp  salt 1 tsp  crushed cumin 1 tsp

Add into the pot, add sugar, salt, sprinkle with caraway and blend. Cover and steam for 10 minutes.

4. 

potatoes 1.1 lb (500 g)

Peel the potatoes, wash and cut into the small cubes.

5. 

water 1.3 quart (1250 ml)

Add into the cabbage, blend and pour in a water. Bring to a boil and cook for 20 minutes under the lid.

6. 

sterilized tomatoes 14 oz (400 g)

Finely cut canned tomatoes.

7. 

tomato paste 1.1 lb (500 g)  vinegar

Pour in tomato puree into the cabbage, add tomatoes, all together blend well and cook. To taste you can add tablespoon of vinegar.
