Peel, wash and cut the potatoes.

2. 

red onion 3.5 oz (100 g)

Peel and cut the onion.

3. 

unsalted butter 1.75 oz (50 g)  spice turmeric 1 tsp  ground coriander spice  0.25 tsp  ground Roman caraway spice - jeera 0.25 tsp  chilli pepper 0.25 tsp

4. 

Add the onion and fry briefly.

5. 

imalayan salt 1 tsp  water 6.75 tbsp (100 ml)

Add potatoes and salt, water, mix ...

6. 

... and simmer under the cover stirring occasionally, until soft for 20 minutes.

Uncover and turn off the heating. Add salt.
