Clean the potatoes, add water about centimetre above the potatoes, salt and cook until soft.
Strain the water from the boiled potatoes into a mug. Mash the potatoes and add the strained potato water to them. Stir.
unsalted butter 1.75 oz (50 g)
Add butter and mix.
Stir peas into the mashed potatoes and serve immediately.
