Very tasty side dish potatoes, which can also be served as a separate dish. A recipe inspired by Indian cuisine.

1. 

bay leaf 1 pc  ground Roman caraway spice - jeera 0.5 tsp  ground cinnamon 0.5 tsp  sunflower oil 10 tbsp (150 ml)

In a larger pan, heat the oil and fry the spices in it.

2. 

red onion 5.25 oz (150 g)  potatoes 1.8 lb (800 g)

Peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices. Clean the onion and cut it into thin wheels. Dismantle the wheels. Remove the bay leaf from the oil and add the onion.

3. 

chilli pepper 0.25 tsp

Add spices,..

4. 

spice turmeric 0.5 tsp  garlic 4 cloves

... turmeric and add peeled, grated garlic. Mix.

5. 

salt 1 tsp

Add potatoes, salt.

6. 

Roast, with the occasional turning of the layer of potatoes, for about 30 minutes ...

7. 

...until goldbraun.
