Recipe

1. 

pork thigh  bacon strips 7 oz (200 g)  salt 2 tsp

Cut the bacon into thicker strips. Wash the meat, sprinkle with salt, lard with bacon and cut the grid at the top.

2. 

pork lard 2.75 oz (80 g)

Melt fat in a pan.

3. 

Put meat in the pan...

4. 

... and fry from both sides.

5. 

onion 4.25 oz (120 g)  pork lard 0.75 oz (20 g)

Peel the onion and cut it into wheels. Grease the baking dish with fat and spread the disassembled onion rings on it.

6. 

Put meat in the baking dish...

7. 

ground red paprika 1 tsp  garlic 3 cloves  water 1.1 cup (250 ml)

... sprinkle with pepper and put sliced garlic in the openings. Cover with water, cover and bake in oven at 805°F (430°C) F (430°F (220°C) C) for 30 minutes. Then turn the meat, cover again and bake for another 30 minutes. You can add water as needed.

Clean the carrots and parsley, wash and cut into slices.

Turn the meat again, add the vegetables and the rest of the bacon. Cover and bake again for 30 minutes. Then uncover the meat and let it bake on top for 15 minutes.
