Peel red onion, chop it finely and cook in oil. Add sugar and caramelize it.
Peel ginger and garlic and grate them finely. Add them to onion together with chili pepper. Cook everything together for a while.
Mix yoghurt and flour in milk. Pour the mixture into the simmering ingredients and bring everything together to the boil.
Allow the sauce to cool slightly and use a hand blender to mix it until smooth.
