A tasty sauce that can be consumed without a side dish. If it would be not enough, you can add fried egg, meatballs, or bread :)

1. 

potatoes 1.7 lb (750 g)  water 2.1 cup (500 ml)  salt 1 tsp

Peel the potatoes, cut into small cubes, add water and salt. Cook for 10 minutes.

2. 

pumpkin 1.7 lb (750 g)

Peel the pumpkin, ...

3. 

... and grate coarsely with kernels. (If the pumpkin is older, remove the kernels with a spoon).

4. 

dill

Add to the potatoes together with fresh chopped dill (or dried) and simmer for 10 minutes.

5. 

whole milk 3.5% 1.1 cup (250 ml)  all-purpose flour / plain flour 1.5 oz (40 g)

Mix flour in the milk ...

... and pour into the sauce. Let it boil.

7. 

sour cream (fat 14-18%) 14 oz (400 g)

Remove from the heat and stir in the cream ...

8. 

unsalted butter 1.75 oz (50 g)

...and butter.
