A proven recipe for crunchy fries made of sweet potatoes baked in the oven. Sweet potatoes are not only tasty but also nutritious. These fries are best still warm, just after baking.

ground red paprika1tsp1teaspoon
olive oil1tbsp1tablespoon
rosemary1tsp1teaspoon
salt0.5tsp½teaspoon
sweet potatoes1.1lb500grams

 

Recipe

1. 

sweet potatoes 1.1 lb (500 g)

Peel a larger sweet potatoe and cut it into similarly large fries.

2. 

Soak the fries in cold water for at least half an hour.

3. 

Strain the water and dry the sweet potatoes with a dish towel.

4. 

olive oil 1 tbsp

Pour olive oil over the french fries and mix well.

5. 

all-purpose flour / plain flour 1 tbsp  salt 0.5 tsp  rosemary 1 tsp  ground garlic 1 tsp  ground red paprika 1 tsp

Prepare from the flour and spices mixture for coating greased fries.

6. 

Sprinkle the french fries evenly with the prepared mixture and mix with hand to coat all sides.

7. 

Place the prepared french fries evenly on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

8. 

Bake for 22 minutes at 220 °C.

9. 

After removing from the oven, they are the crunchest and ready to serve.
