1. 

all-purpose flour / plain flour 6.25 oz (175 g)  unsalted butter 4.5 oz (125 g)  semi-sweet white wine 3.25 tbsp (50 ml)  salt 1 pinch

Put flour into a bowl, add sliced butter, wine and a pinch of salt.

2. 

Knead the dough.

3. 

Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and store it in the refrigerator during the night.

4. 

Roll the dough on a floured board to a thickness of about 0,5 cm and cut out small shapes (the diameter of the round cookie cutter is 3 cm).

5. 

Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

6. 

Bake for 12 minutes at 180 °C.

7.

Coat the baked cakes in sugar.

8. 

Store in a closed tin so that they do not dry out.
