Recipe of delicate cocoa flavored balls and candied cherries.

1. 

unsalted butter 4.25 oz (120 g)  powdered sugar 2 oz (60 g)

Beat room-temperatured butter with sugar until creamy.

2. 

all-purpose flour / plain flour 4 oz (110 g)  cocoa powder 2 tbsp  salt 1 pinch  ground almonds 3.5 oz (100 g)

Sift the flour with cocoa powder and mix them together with the ground nuts.

3. 

candied cherries 1.5 oz (40 g)

Cut the candied cherries into small pieces.

4. 

brandy 1.25 tbsp (20 ml)

Make a solid dough from all the prepared ingredients and a little alcohol.

Form balls in your palms. Press half of the candied cherries into some of them.

6. 

Bake for 16 minutes at 160 °C.
