1. Preparation of potato dough

potatoes 2.2 lb (1000 g)  flour medium 10 oz (280 g)  chicken egg 2 pcs  salt

1. Potato dough can be prepared from semi product - potato dough powder to which you must add the water and after a while of resting work it immediately. 2. You can prepare it also by classic way from boiled unpeeled potatoes. After cooking and cooling peel potatoes, finely grate, add egg, flour and salt. Work the dough.

2. Meat stuffing

minced pork meat 14 oz (400 g)  onion 3.25 oz (90 g)  ground red paprika 2 tsp  salt 1 tsp  soy sauce 2 tsp  basil 1 tsp

Finely chop the onion. Combine minced meat with onion, soya sauce, salt, ground red paprika and basil. Blend properly.

3. Filling of dumplings - balls

Roll out the potato dough and cut into the squares of size approximately 8x8 cm. Place full spoon of meat stuffing into each square and form the balls.

4. Steaming in a steamer.

Grease with butter the bottom and sides of a steamer baskets. Place adequate amount of dumplings into each baskets. Form smaller dumplings from remaining dough to which you can add fresh or dried chives. Steam for 30 minutes.

5. Frying of onion

onion 5 pcs  sunflower oil 3.25 tbsp (50 ml)

Peel the onions, chop, and fry in oil until brown, but mind the onion does not grow bitter. Sprinkle prepared dumplings with fried onion, you can pour over the sour cream, sprinkle with fresh chives.
