potatoes 1.7 lb (750 g)
Cook potatoes in water in their skin. Pour the water off, let the potatoes cool, clean and cut into circles or chips.
Cut the onion into a bowl, add sugar and turmeric. Pour boiling water mixed with vinegar and boil the onion for a while.
Mix prepared potatoes, pickle, sterilized vegetables and sliced capers.
Season with salt and pepper.
