Aloo Gobi masala is a popular, not only Indian, vegetarian dish. It is a quite spicy mixture of potatoes and cauliflower. Serving it with rice or bread pancakes partially reduces the spicy taste. The recipe has many variations, but the basis are Indian spices.

1. 

potatoes 14 oz (400 g)  cauliflower 10.5 oz (300 g)  red onion 5.25 oz (150 g)  Clarified butter recipe 2 tbsp

Clean the potatoes, wash and cut them into small cubes. Divide the cauliflower into small florets. Peel the onion, cut and fry it in butter.

garlic 0.25 oz (8 g)  ginger-root 0.25 oz (8 g)

Clean the garlic and ginger and grate them finely. Add to onion.

Roman caraway spice 0.5 tsp  ground coriander spice  0.25 tsp  spice turmeric 0.5 tsp  chilli pepper 0.25 tsp  Garam masala spice 0.5 tsp

Add and fry spices.

...cauliflower and mix. Simmer until soft, add water as necessary and stir.
