Broccoli dumplings with smoked meat in a steamer


Broccoli dumplings (balls) prepared in steamer are great and healthy snak. Serve hot, spinkled with onion fried in olive oil.

1. Preparing broccoli

broccoli 1 kg

Chop broccoli into florets and steam it. Let it cool and cut it into small pieces or mix it with hand blender.

2. Mixture for dumplings

smoked meat product 8.75 oz (250 g)  salt 3 tsp  meal 14 oz (400 g)  chicken egg 2 pcs  unsalted butter 1.75 oz (50 g)

Cut the sausage into small pieces. Add salt, flour, egg and sausage to the broccoli. Mix everything together and let it stand for 15 minutes. Prepare steamer and grease the containers with butter.

3. Shaping dumplings into balls

Make balls from a mixture and put 6-8 of them into the first container of steamer. Be sure you leave enough space for steam. Fill second and third container.

4. Steaming

Steam for 30 min.


5. Fried onions

onion 7 oz (200 g)  olive oil 30 ml

Chop the onion finely. Pour oil into sauce pan, add the onions and stir until brown.
