Garlic Soup with Potatoes

1. 

onion 5.25 oz (150 g)  pork lard 1 oz (30 g)

Peel the onion and finely chop. In a saucepan melt the lard, add onion and saute until golden.

2. 

garlic 20 cloves

Peel the garlic, cut the cloves into the halves and for better digestion remove sprouts from the center. Finely chop half of prepared garlic.

3. 

Add chopped garlic into the onion and shortly fry.

4. 

potatoes 1.3 lb (600 g)  veggie salt 4 tsp  ground black pepper ½ tsp  crushed cumin ½ tsp

Peel the potatoes and cut into the small cubes. Add into the onion with garlic, add vegetable salt, black pepper and caraway.

5. 

water 1600 ml  marjoram

Add water and cook until potatoes soften. Finally press other half of prepared garlic cloves into the soup and add marjoram.

6. 

You can add cube of chicken bouillon as a flavour-enhancer. However the soup miss its healthy power, bouillons contain different additives.

7.

Serve the soup with cheese cubes.
