1. Dough preparation

all-purpose flour / plain flour 7 oz (200 g)  grated coconut 3.5 oz (100 g)  chicken egg 1 pc  powdered sugar 2 oz (60 g)  unsalted butter 7 oz (200 g)

From given ingrediences work the dough. Work the dough quickly, fat is melting fast and during the slow preparation the dough sticks on the hands and brakes.

2. Roll out the dough

Place worked dough of loaf shape in a cold place for an hour. Divide cooled dough into two parts, on floured board roll out one part of dough as large as possible (after time dough starts breaking). Replace rolled dough into the round cake pan, push with hands and spread. Do not grease the form, the dough is fatty enough.

3. Filling

grated apples 1.3 lb (600 g)  raisins 3 tbsp  cinnamon sugar 1 tbsp  coconut 3 tbsp

Prepare the filling: grate the apples, add in the coconut, raisins, cinnamon sugar. Blend all together well.


4. Filling

Spread the filling over the sheet of dough in a round pan, cover with second sheet of dough.


5. Baking

Place the cake into the oven preheated at 355°F (180°C), bake for 20-30 minutes.
