Cream Cheese Apple Pie


Recipe for a quite easy cake from cream cheese dough with apple filling.

1. Preparation of the cream cheese dough

dry curd cottage 1.1 lb (500 g)  flour medium 14 oz (400 g)  powdered sugar 2 oz (60 g)  sunflower oil 8 tbsp  salt  baking powder for gingerbread

Mix cream cheese, eggs, flour, sugar, oil and a pinch of salt. At the end add baking powder. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in the refrigerator for half an hour.

2. Apple filling

grated apples 1.1 lb (500 g)  cinnamon sugar  corn starch 1 tsp

Coarsely grate apples or use compote without added sugar. Add one package of cinnamon sugar and corn starch.

Use a rolling pin to spread the dough on floured board and fill it with apple filling. We can form them into dumplings or roll the dough and make strudel. Press the edges well to prevent the filling from leaking.


Bake in preheated oven at 355°F (180°C) for about 30 minutes.
