Basmati is a perfect long grain rice, with an unmistakable nutty taste that is easily digestible and gluten-free. It has a low glycemic index and fewer calories than other types of rice. During cooking it will not stick together and not just you will love it.

1. 

white basmati rice 7 oz (200 g)  water

Wash the rice several times in cold water. Then soak it in cold water for 30 minutes and strain after this time.

2. 

water 1.5 cup (350 ml)  imalayan salt 1 tsp

In a pot (preferably stainless steel, with a double bottom) let the water with salt boil. Add the rice, wait until the water starts to boil again. Reduce the heat, cover the pot and cook for 5 minutes. Turn off the cooker and let it rest for 15 minutes.

3. 

Use fork to aerate the rice. Serve immediately or put it into another box so that it does not cook in the hot pot.
