Recipe

1. 

semi skimmed milk 1,5% 1.1 cup (250 ml)  sugar granulated 1 tsp  fresh yeast 1.5 oz (42 g)

Warm the milk, add a little sugar and crushed yeast. Let the yeast rise.

2. 

flour medium 1.7 lb (750 g)  all-purpose flour / plain flour 8.75 oz (250 g)  chicken egg 1 pc  semi skimmed milk 1,5% 2.1 cup (500 ml)  unsalted butter 4.5 oz (125 g)

Put both flours, sugar into a deeper bowl, add egg, milk, melted butter and yeast.

Knead the dough and let it rise covered in a warm place for about 45 minutes.

Tip out the risen dough onto a floured board and roll out to a thickness of about 1 cm. Using a larger glass, cut wheels.

fruit jam

Put 1 teaspoon of jam on every second wheel. Cover with clean wheels and press the edges well. Cut again with a glass.

6. 

sunflower oil  unsalted butter

Heat oil and butter in a pan. By adding butter to the oil, we will ensure that the dumplings do not soak up the oil. Fry from both sides in hot oil.

7. 

Put the fried dumplings in a bowl on the bottom of which you spread a paper kitchen towel to absorb excess fat. Serve sprinkled with sugar.
